CREATIVE GROUP WORKSHOP

Welcome to the enchanting world of Diny Blom, Dutch Master florist extraordinaire! At her historic Gouda atelier, Diny crafts stunning and unique floral designs. She passionately coaches inspiring floral lovers, florists and students from around the globe.

It offers a creative Dutch floral design masterclass with Diny for anyone who wants to be artisticly challenged. You can combine this workshop with a visit to historical Gouda and experience what the city has to offer.

Blomatelier is located in the historical centre of Gouda. Following this one-day floral feast, you can unwind in the historical centre of Gouda by visiting the Gothic St. Jan Church and other must-sees. Diny Blom will direct you to the best Dutch cheese shop and a famous syrup waffle factory. Also, Gouda is famous for its art galleries and unexpected shops.

Blomatelier workshops are educational, original and we aspire a sustainable institution. Be enchanted by the unique flowers and organic wonders of nature.

Day training

We offer 2 possibilities , day or half a day training.

Morning session 10.30 – 12.30 Subject 1.

Lunch time 12.30 – 13.30

Afternoon session 13.30 – 15.30 Subject 2.

Modern Floral design options inspired by nature.

For each part of the day you can choose a subject from the following list:

Vincent van Gogh. Create a floral piece inspired by the master’s works.
Fashion Floral Design : Making a fashionable hat or floral accessory.
Salvador Dali. Sculpt a masterpiece with unexpected Dali combinations.
Spirit of Nature: Using your imagination you will create a sustainable object with branches and other natural materials
Dutch Delight: Assemble a decorative bowl or floral cake the prettiest flowers of the season.

Group size from 8 till 20 persons. ( Smaller groups € 195.– a person )

Day training fee training per person € 175.–

including 2 subjects to choose mentioned below .

Half a day training fee per person € 87,50.

Lunch options at Blomatelier. A. Gouda cheese lunch / soup.B. Dutch warm fish lunch. C. lunch at the neighbours Museumcafe Gouda. This is not included in the day fee. from € 15.– till € 30.– extra.

How to reach BlomAtelier by public transport?

BlomAtelier, Molenwerf … in Gouda, is easily reached by train from Amsterdam (50 mins), Utrecht (25 mins) and Rotterdam (15 mins). The flower studio is at a walking distance from the railway station, taking you past the Gothic town hall and interesting Gouda shops. If you want, Diny Blom can pick you up from Gouda Station or Schiphol Airport.
