3 day Creative Floral Design Experience
Would you like to re-energize your creative spirit?
Imagine you are in the creative heart of the old city of Gouda in the Netherlands. You can hear the sounds of the cheesemarket and a church carrillion. In one of the oldest streets, you walk into the International Florist Training Centre, a place dedicated to passing on the art and craft of floral design. Inside you are welcomed by the creative florist Diny Blom, and she immediately makes you feel at home.
Before you know it you are engaged in your first creative floral design session and she challenges you to try new things and to work with all sorts of natural materials. Also for experienced florists and teachers to gain new inspiration and to try-out new techniques!
Her love for the craft and for working with people in creative ways encourage you to bring out the best and to search for your own original expression.At the end of the first session you will not only have created your first unique bouquet, but you will have a taste of the creative and joyful adventure that is to follow. Master Florist and European Judge Floristry hereby invites you to explore and practice new designs and techniques. To freshen up your floral design by improving your signature, adding something new or simplifying your technique.
It is also an excellent opportunity to enjoy the good life in Gouda, home of the Gouda cheese and the syrup waffle. And if you book for 2 courses Diny will be your guide and take you out on an eveningtour along the canals of Utrecht or the Port of Rotterdam.
A. CREATIVE DUTCH FLORAL DESIGN
Important basics for beginners and creative spirits.
Master-florist and coach Diny Blon will teach you important basics at your own level combined with handy tips and trics of the trade, excursion to Plantion wholesaler center and selecting your favorite flowers and the opportunity of buying florist -articles yourself. Practice and create different style handtied bouquets and a weddingbouquet , trendy wrist corsage, garden table decoration, Paralelldesign and interesting small design. Or select from your own bucketlist.
Coursefee: Dutch floral design 3 days € 750,–
this includes all materials, lunches, entrance at Sint Jan Museum , personal flower and training-guide and fieldtrip to select your own flowers.
B. FASHION FLORAL DESIGN
This is for advanced florists and DFA graduates with a keen interest in arts, fashion and love for contrasting materials. In 3 days you will study and master new techniques and designs. Dare to be different and create multi purpose designs for the body. Beside amazing bouquets , had and hairpieces, wrist & armcorsages Diny will share her experience with fashionshows and show you her dresses with secret pockets for flowers and lots more.!!

C. SPIRITS OF NATURE AND SUSTAINABLE FLORAL DESIGNS.
Are you a florist, floraholic and maybee a keen gardener and wish to learn more and try out sustainable floral designs.
This 3 day course gives you new insight . Together we try out new objects and designs and we let the creativity flow.
Great materials to work with like wood, rubber, branches, roots, paper, fabric, felt, wire combined with special flowers and greens. Amaze yourself and your clients and collegue’s and students.
