Costs
The training costs, the examination fee as well as additional costs are fixed. For 2010 the costs for a complete course is € 6500.– Included in the price is the following:
- 30 lessons of 4 hours;
- a practice examination in Alkmaar;
- final examination in Alkmaar;
- access to our florist library;
- all flowers and materials;
- and assisting at weddings.
What makes a DFA training at Blomatelier a truly unique experience:
- Individual training and coaching (2 students max.);

Certificate
Candidates who passed the examination will receive the practice certificate Dutch Flower Arrangements 1.
The certificate is recognised by the line organisation, VBW-Centrale Vereniging Bloemendetailhandel (Dutch Association Flower Retail Trade). The certificate entitles an addition for workers in the flower retail trade, in accordance with the applied Central Labour Agreement.
Continuation training
With the practice certificate DFA 1 you have admittance to the course:
- Dutch Flower Arrangements 2 (DFA 2)
- Advanced Dutch Flower Arrangements 1 (ADFA 1)
